Once that’s juiced, head to higher ground and butt stomp any button you come across - these will help open up a few ways to recover should you fall.Ĭlub the swarms of jelly bandits that show up to get the second cactus. The first cactus is just a few steps away. When you stop, you’re be greeted by the “Familiar Stranger” asking for help with getting cactus juice. This one introduces the ability to boost enemies out of the way! Ride the platform that it puts in motion to enter another seahorse ride segment. Head over to the right side of town behind the saloon until you see the target you can shoot with a bubble. Get close to them however you can and hit them twice to get rid of them. They’ll be bugging you for the rest of the game. Head outside where you’ll be challenged to a duel by a new kind of jelly enemy that shoots projectiles. (If you pay attention to the wanted posters all over the place, you’ll probably have a good idea who you’ll be chasing down…) Before you leave the saloon, head upstairs to find a small platforming area with lots of jelly. Do this three times before Sandy’s meter can fill up to beat her. When the glass of soda slides by you, hit the attack button to grab it, then rapidly press the attack button to down the glass. Once you clear the area, Sheriff Sandy will challenge you to a cactus soda game. Head inside the saloon, where you’ll need to beat up some “Jelly Bandits” right away. Once you reach the end of the trail, you’ll get your seahorse license which grants you the ability to ride and control any seahorse you find throughout the game! Bounce along the trampolines at the end of the trail to finally get to Manta Fe. If you stumble over any part of the trial, no worries! It is repeatable as many times as needed. When you approach the two trains converging, hit the boost just before crossing the first train to maintain the momentum and safely carry you past the second train. Puff’s frantic screams, as they’ll warn you of obstacles coming immediately. Gallop through the trail and as comical as they seem, pay attention to Mrs. This will introduce you to another seahorse trial! This time, you can press the attack button to speed boost through obstacles and enemies and gain speed. When you’ve gotten all you want, approach the Puff. There’s also a Golden Spatula along the right side of the ranch from where you come in. Puff’s ranch! Before you talk to the perpetually perturbed pufferfish, take a look around her ranch - there’s tons of tikis to destroy, lots of platforming to more jellies, and even a doubloon at the very top of her house. Eventually you’ll encounter a target you can blow a bubble at, but the way the texture looks sometimes, you can’t tell there’s a platform in front of you! Make sure to take a few steps forward onto the big wooden platform before blowing a bubble, otherwise you have to wait for it to come back down. You’ll soon find moving wooden cactai, which you need to wait until they pass and you pass behind them. This area will also be your first encounter with rings of jelly, which you just need to get near and the whole ring will collect into you. No harm in collecting the jelly, even if the switch that they lead to is only usable later. Destroy all the tikis around said checkpoint for a lot of jelly, then check to your right for a string of trampolines that have jelly on them. You’ll reach a checkpoint and meet a speeding Mrs. Whenever you see a platform made with rickety pieces of wood and nails haphazardly sticking out, be careful they can and will collapse on you if you stay on them for more than a few seconds. Platform and fight your way through the desert. Check behind you for a nice stash of jelly. Once you stop and get your bearings, speak to the old geezer next to you to set your new goal on finding the Sheriff. Aim for jelly bubbles and tiki statues, as these signify safety from now and forevermore. See Our Other Guides to Collect Everything In Every Level!Īs soon as you touch down in Wild West Jellyfish Fields, you land on the back of a seahorse and you’re off at high speed! The seahorse is a bit difficult to control, but use left and right as best you can. It’s also one of the longest levels in the game, so if you can withstand everything it has to throw at you, you’re well on your way to saving Bikini Bottom. This level, as the name and your first costume implies, is all about rootin’ and tootin’ (no cowboy shootin’ this is a Nickelodeon game) and making your way through the dusty town of Manta Fe to catch a bandit.
